THE PEOPLE OF EPPING FOREST DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS VOTE FOR CHANGE – VOTE FOR ANYONE WHO ISN’T ELEANOR LAING While most disgraced MPs from all parties have had the good grace or foresight to resign following the expenses scandal (a curse on ALL their houses, especially their second homes), Eleanor Laing, the bombastic, odious, dishonourable Member of Parliament for Epping Forest, lingers on like a painful hangover having brought her office and her constituency into disrepute. While most of her fellow crooked MPs nationwide have jumped before being pushed, Mrs Laing escaped de-selection by orchestrating a closed meeting of her party’s Mafia (people who would vote for Rose West if she wore her party’s rosette) before being congratulated by her party leader – the one who promises honesty and accountability and the right of all constituents to sack their standing MP. This election could be a memorable one for Epping Forest constituents. It will be a damning indictment of Epping Forest as a community if we don’t vote to rid ourselves of this self-serving drain on taxpayers’ money. By doing so we can restore people’s faith in human nature and demonstrate that democracy is indeed alive and well here. Many of Eleanor Laing’s constituents commute daily to London, while others struggle to keep possession of their homes in today’s financial climate. Many of her elderly constituents live in a world a million miles away from Mrs Laing's, the real world where, after a lifetime of hard work, they can barely afford to exist on the basic pension. Equally guilty of freeloading are the people who mismanage our so-called regulatory bodies such as The Fees Office, The Local Government Ombudsman's Office (widely acknowledged as being institutionally corrupt), The Financial Services Authority, The Department of Works and Pensions (in particular whoever is responsible for the "Report a Cheat" website initiative which is permanently unmanned), unelected quangos staffed by parasitic pillocks, unelected members of the House of Lords and others too numerous to mention. Such people create problems and solve very few and unless they go home, without pay, to "spend more time with their families" we, the taxpayer, will never regain control of our parliament. And who could deny that, centuries on, Westminster is desperately in need of a leader with even a smidgen of this man's integrity?
